ಮಾನ್ಯರೇ ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ವಂದನೆಗಳು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅವಿರತ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲದಿಂದಷ್ಟೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಲಶಾಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಗಮನೀಯವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಭರ್ಜರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಅಕ್ಕ-೨೦೧೪ ಬೇ ಏರಿಯಾ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ಕ್ಷಮತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. - ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ತಂಡ
ಇಷ್ಟಾಗಿಯೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಲಾಭ-ನಿರಪೇಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವ ಶುಲ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಣವನ್ನು ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟಿಂಗ್ ಅಥವಾ ಫಂಡ್-ರೇಸಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ತುಂಬಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಆದರೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವ ಸಭಾಂಗಣ ಶುಲ್ಕಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿವೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವ ಶುಲ್ಕವು ಹತ್ತು ಡಾಲರ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವನ್ನು ಆದಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಲು ನಮ್ಮ ತಂಡಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಸದ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಶಾಲಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೀರೆಂದು ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

Thank you for your continued support to the Kannada Koota of Northern California (KKNC) over the years. It is with your unwavering support that this organization has grown to be one of the biggest and the strongest Kannada associations in the world outside of Karnataka.
As you have witnessed over the past few years, both the quantity and quality of activities at KKNC have grown tremendously - we have been organizing more cultural events with superior programs, have made much bigger charitable contributions and have come up with new and innovative initiatives for the benefit of the community. The phenomenal success of the recently held AKKA World Kannada Conference - 2014 is a standing testimony to the great talent and execution abilities of KKNC.
All this growth has come at a price, unfortunately. KKNC being a non-profit and volunteer based organization, relies heavily upon its members to sustain, leave alone excel. As you may very well be aware, KKNC spends far more on members than the membership fee it collects from them to conduct all its activities. For many years now, KKNC has supplemented the deficit through its marketing and/or fundraising activities.
However, the recent steep increase in auditorium costs has forced us to reach out to our strong member base for additional help. Starting this year, the annual family membership fees will go up by $10. We have made every effort to minimize the increase, and hope that you will continue to support us in making this organization even more powerful in building a stronger Kannada community in the Bay Area.

KKNC is proud to present this year's last program "Morning Raagas", which will be a fund raiser for Second Harvest Food Bank, on Sunday, December 14th between 7 30AM and 10:30AM, Yes THIS PROGRAM IS UNIQUE and starts at 7 30AM and is open to ALL bay area music lovers.
We will have three of the bay areas leading artists performing at this event led by Sri Nachiketa Yakkundi, featuring Ravi Gutala on Tabla and Vivek Datar on Harmonium.
