ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ

-ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಮಿಲ್ಪಿಟಾಸ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಂತಸದ ಸುದ್ದಿ. ೨೦೦೬ರಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಗುರೊಡೆದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಸಸಿಯೀಗ ತನ್ನ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಸುಂದರ ಮರ.
ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪುಸ್ತಕ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನೇ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕನಸಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕನಸಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆ ಕನ್ನಡವಾದರೂ ವ್ಯಾವಹಾರಿಕ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಯ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಗಿಸುವುದು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯ ಅನುಭವೀ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನೇಕರು ಸೇರಿ ಸಂಪಾದಕ ಸಮಿತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

೨೦೧೬ ರಿಂದ ೨೦೨೦ರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಸಮಿತಿ ಈಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ತರಗತಿ ೫ ಮತ್ತು ತರಗತಿ ೬ರ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನಿಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು, ಶ್ರೀ ಟಿ. ಎಸ್. ನಾಗಾಭರಣ,( ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ) ಇವರ *ಸರ್ವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ*, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ೨ ಸಮಯ: ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ೭ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ನಡುತೋಟ, ಧರ್ಮಧರ್ಶಿ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ ಇವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾಬಲ ಭಟ್ಟ, ಸೀತಾಳಭಾವಿ, (ಉಪ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಂಪಾದಕರು, ಕನ್ನಡಪ್ರಭ), ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಲಮೇಲು ಅಯ್ಯಂಗಾರ್, (ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ) ಮೂಲಕ ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಲು ನಿಮಗಿದು ನಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಕರೆಯೋಲೆ.

Milpitas Kannada Kali main center brings you another good news. Kannada Kali, the tiny sapling that was planted in 2006 under the auspices of the KKNC has now grown into a beautiful tree with multiple branches.
Since many years, Kannada Kali team had a dream to publish its own Kannada syllabus in the form of text books and use it as a learning material. The main objective of this dream was to eliminate the lack of Kannada teaching materials and help the students whose mother tongue is Kannada but who don't use it in their daily communication. As a result, Kannada Kali's experienced teachers formed an editorial committee and created the text books in such a way that students would love reading them.

From 2006 to 2020, the committee that published text books for 4 grades has now published 5th and 6th grade text books.

These books will be released by Sri.T.S.Nagabharana, President of Kannada Development Authority on Thursday, September 2nd at 7pm Pacific time in the presence of Sri.Pradeep Naduthota Chairman of the KKNC Board of Trustees, chief guest Sri.Mahabala Bhat Seetalabaavi assitant Editor Kannada Prabha and Smt.Alamelu Iyengar President of KKNC.
