KKNC's Independence Day Parade
This weekend!
As in the previous years, KKNC will be
presenting a float at the Independence Day Parade hosted by FIA on August
14, 2005, 12:00 pm. For more details on venue and the event, please visit: http://www.fiaonline.org/ In the previous years, KKNC floats were judged and awarded as one of the best floats, consistently! The theme for this year's float will be "Kannada Naadina Karaavali". Enthusiastic KKNC members have constructed a magnificent float this year too. And our members will also perform and showcase the rich coastal Karnataka culture during the parade. We strongly encourage the KKNC members to come and walk with our float and support KKNC as always. Please make sure you come to witness the parade and to cheer KKNC team! |

 KKNC is hosting an unique
cultural extravaganza - Kannadotsava - on September 3rd and 4th. This event
is a celebration of our rich culture, heritage, art, and language. Famous
and talented artists and troupes from Karnataka, Northern California, Southern
California, and other parts of US will be performing plays, dance and musical
dramas, light/folk/classical music, skits, comedy, and more!
