Booth 1. AAA Gems and Beads: AAA's Mr. Praveen Kumar has been generously supporting KKNC events in 2007 and we expect to see their support in upcoming years. Booth 2. DirecTV: Mr. Neeraj Dhar of DirecTV is a Grand Sponsor at KKNC Deepavali event. Everyone is familiar with DirecTV. Neeraj-bhai will be offering special deals for signing up. As a first time sponsorer, Mr. Neeraj Dhar is already a grand sponsor and we hope he will continue to be a great patron of KKNC in the coming years. Booth 3. Gagan Kohli: Mr. Kohli is a friendly and helpful insurance agent with New York Life Insurance Company. Many of you may have seen Mr. Gagan Kohli's booth since 2005 at KKNC events. He has been a wonderful sponsorer, spending several thousands with KKNC for his booths and ads in KKNC's newsletters and annual magazine, Swarnasethu. Gagan Kohli is known for his great depth of knowledge in the field of insurance, retirement investment and college fund investment. We hope you will make time to review his solutions and understand why life insurance is important to everyone.
Booth 4. Prince Realty and Finance: Many of you might remember the smiley faced friendly person from Kannadotsava back in September. Prince (yes, that's his first name) is a seasoned bay area realtor and he hails from India. He was in the group of real estate experts who were consulted by the US senate executives to understand the dynamics of the real estate business in the bay area. He will be available for any consultation at the event floor on Saturday. We hope KKNC members will encourage our sponsorers like Prince -- we need our sponsorers in the coming years.
Booth 5. Sankara Eye Foundation: KKNC members have been extraordinarily generous towards Sankara's efforts. Here is the latest information from SEF. (a) Karnataka ranked as state with third highest blind population. (b) Sankara Eye Foundation working towards freedom from preventable and curable blindness for needy in Karnataka. 2 hospitals planned for Karnataka located in Bangalore and in Shimoga. (c) SEH-Bangalore is slated to be Sankara's launch pad facility for Vision 20/20. In addition to being a state-of-the-art hospital performing free eye surgeries and eye-care rural outreach, this facility will include a super specialty Training Center to focus on human resource development. The hospital, designed for 225 beds is ready for inauguration in March 2008. (d) Shimoga falls almost in the center of Karnataka and is surrounded by districts which have very poor eye care. It is strategically located to serve the North and western parts of Karnataka through outreach community care programs. Shimoga project, designed for 225 beds is underway and requires $1.24 million dollars to complete construction and become operational. (e) Dr. Ashok Sonni of Florida is matching upto $100K in donations for funds received before end of 2007. Please donate before end of the year and double the impact of your gift.
Booth 6. Sri Ramachandra Guruji: Sri Ramachndra Guruji believes in simple living and high thinking. He is the recipient of the "Seva Ratna" award from the National Council of Alternative Medicine, Bangalore. Guruji's simple message of love, practical wisdom and compassion continues to inspire people universally irrespective of caste, creed, cult, color or sex. Guruji is currently visiting USA and has expressed interest in meeting with KKNC members and share his message - Anything divine is always simple.
Booth 7. Bone Marrow registration drive: Rekha Shivapa will be handling the Bone Marrow drive... the booth is expected to be in the backside of the audiorium in the food area. This is for a girl from Mysore who is very sick. We want the generosity of Bay Area Kannadigas to reach home. Rekha's message - Saving a Life is easier than you think!
